Finding the right place for my daughter’s musical development took time, with VMA exactly what we were hoping for. Whether a child brings passion, talent or both, VMA is an environment where they can truly grow - learning both the science and art of music, surrounded by teachers and peers who genuinely support one another. Alison and the team are honest, talented and have taken real care in nurturing my daughter. In the past six months alone, I have seen her confidence and ability grow more than ever before. The mixture of choir and lessons works really well for us. There are also wonderful opportunities to turn practice into performance experience with peers, from live gigs to contributing backing vocals for music clips, which has been incredibly valuable. We’re so grateful, and excited, for what comes next.

My daughter Adalira started with VMA after being in the Qld state school production - creative generations; she absolutely fell in love with performing. Alison Rogers at the Vocal Manoeuvres Academy has helped my boys with their singing tremendously over the last few years. I have known Alison Rogers for over 6 years, initially as choir master at my daughters’ school and afterwards as their private singing coach and mentor. She has always encouraged professionalism in the students, both on stage and behind the scenes, and to be performance ready at the drop of a hat! Alison has always taken a professional approach to training the students and has been very honest and extremely encouraging to young performers, making the sessions fun and light whilst ensuring the students are learning to their fullest capacity. The beautiful sound that she is able to generate from these young people is extraordinary, and the confidence that they achieve – to be able to stand up in front of hundreds or thousands of people and sing so beautifully - is mind blowing!
