Water Ponyz Swim School Floreat

We’ve only been to Ella’s class for two weeks, but she has truly been an amazing swimming teacher. She’s warm, patient, and great at helping little ones feel safe and confident in the water. We’re really sad to see her go, and so grateful for the wonderful start she has given us.

We love swimming lessons here. We tried 2 swimming schools before finding somewhere with fabulous teachers like here!! The teachers are all brilliant with the kids, highly engaging the children to become better swimmers. The reception staff are friendly, opening gates for you etc and the place is very clean.

We are very new to Water Ponyz and have been very impressed with the staff, swim teachers and the facilities so far! The pool is a great length, the teachers are really engaging and the classes are small which is just perfect for individual attention. Highly recommend Water Ponyz Floreat if you don’t want a swim school which is squishy and chaotic with too many kids in the pool!

My daughter started swimming here shortly before Christmas 24 in Ella's class which was great. When she turned 3 in February she started having classes without a parent with her in the water. In the beginning she refused to do anything. It was a bit chaotic as well because the teacher kept switching either because of sickness or holidays. I felt like there was no progress. However now she got used to the routine and she is making progress in my eyes. It probably doesn't matter too much anymore who the teacher is. Her teachers are all great and I like their "non nonsense" approach. My son is 1.5years old and attends Ella's class. She is very kind and seems to genuinely enjoy teaching children. It's also the only swimming place that I could find that has lessons for 3 year olds and 1.5years old on Sunday close together. Apart from that, parking is easy, the app is easy to use and when I cannot attend I can just book in for another session on the app. The only potential negative is the floor of the women and the family shower. The tiles are very slippery. All in all this is a good swim school and my kids love coming here!

I had a very disappointing experience here. My child was very anxious attending his first lesson and scared of getting in the water. I suggested I could sit with him on the side of the water and teacher then proceeded to ignore him. Didn’t make any effort to engage. After 15 minutes of him refusing to get in the water and no effort by the teacher we left. 2 staff members at front desk chatting but no one else available in pool area. Child doesn’t want to go back and WaterPonyz, despite saying this doesn’t represent their usual standard are refusing to provide refund for subsequent paid lessons as it “doesn’t meet their terms and conditions”.
