Waves Leisure Centre

The staff are great and parking is so tight and if you park next to a toddler get ready to get your door lean agaist your car. Also if you have kids over 3 you have to pay 8.30 and you have to pay 9.30 that's ridiculous. All this money spend and still leaks from the roof and tiles missing from the wave pool. There is only one change room for parents where they should convert that meeting room end of the baby room instead of the half nake man doing exercise on weekends to a parenting room

On request from 3yr granddaughter, we drove to Waves. We got one 'wave' for the whole time we were there... Why when you have abundant choice, would you put the (very) senior movement class in the wave pool - rendering it not fit for purpose??! Paid for waves - got 1 in over 2 hrs and a closed water play slide as well. 🫤

My membership was up for renewal and I went in to Waves to complete the renewal process. I have a student concession card but didn't have it with me. One of the younger female staff members mentioned: 'That's all good, just sign the concession contract and we will give you a refund and honour the concession price the next time you come in once we've sighted your concession card'. I went in 2 days later and showed another female staff member my concession card and explained what I was told. This staff member said: 'I'm sorry, once you sign the contract we generally can't give a refund or charge the concession price'. The younger female staff member 2 days prior was present at the time and mentioned that she did say that she would give a refund however the older female staff member said: 'I will check with the manager and get back to you'. She didn't get bother collecting my contact details and I'm yet to hear from the manager. Not the best customer service and staff training inconsistencies isn't the best look. Hopefully I can get a response soon.

Disapointment! Took my daughter for a fun day in the pool but the wave pool was closed which we were informed on the entry. When we got in, we realised almost every where a kid could play was closed as well! For us was not much of waves leisure centre today, just Centre.

While waiting in line, I saw a customer ask to speak with the manager. The manager who came out was rude, arrogant, and spoke to the customer in a very condescending way. Even without knowing the full details of the complaint, the way the situation was handled was extremely unprofessional. If this is how management treats customers, it’s very concerning.
