Great motivation, training, defence & support for young to old. I have seen my shy boy become more confident, social and physical. All coaches/Sensei's are fantastic, friendly, supportive and focused. Word of the month - "Respect" - so impressed with start of month class focusing on this, as well as basic movement. Well done team and thank you 😊 🙏 👍
Sensei Ross runs an excellent martial arts academy. We chose Aikido for our kids due to its focus on defence and using an opponents momentum against themselves. The classes are run by experienced trainers. It's fun and helps to develop great skills. Highly recommended.
The instructors are incredibly patient and skilled at working with young children. They create a fun and engaging environment that encourages my child to learn while also fostering respect and discipline. The curriculum is age-appropriate, focusing on basic techniques, coordination, and teamwork, all while keeping the atmosphere light and playful. I’ve noticed a boost in my child’s confidence and social skills since starting classes. The instructors are attentive, ensuring each child feels included and motivated. Additionally, the academy prioritizes safety, which is a huge relief for me as a parent. Overall, it's been a fantastic experience, and I’m thrilled to see my child grow and thrive in this supportive setting!
My daughter has been attending akido classes for the past few months and she is absolutely loving it. It has been amazing to see all the new skills she has learnt aswell as watch her confidence grow. She has loved working with Sensei and learning new things.
Both myself and my son train here, and have done so for many years. Sensei Ross is a talented and passionate teacher, and I really like how he focuses on mental development as well as physical skills. His focus on Aikido as "The way of Harmony" is a great complement to other self development activities like meditation and introspection.
