Yeronga Pool

We are so grateful to have been recommended this pool for our nervous swimmer. Julie is phenomenal and caring, while she's no longer in the pool teaching, she has supported our nervous swimmer journey through helping us to find the best teacher match, and our child is now thriving! Such a lovely team at Yeronga Pool, and Don is so wonderful!

So grateful to have this local pool. Such a good combination of lap lanes and recreational swimming areas. Sometimes kids (and even adults) do take up the lap lanes with just hanging around, which is annoying for people actually wanting to use the lap lanes. But majority of the time there’s been good lifeguards on who ask them to move into the rec area. Great place for families and I love that they have the pregnant parent club.

What a fabulous place for families. Im sure everyone would have a great time. There’s a couple of pools. The pools are all pretty well clean. Heated pools. You can swim all year round. 50m pool : shallow 1.2 m deep 1.9m 25m pool: has accessible ramp into pool. 1.2 m deep (could be 1.4m) Kids water playground “Inside” pool: was closed when I was there. I anticipate it’s for hydrotherapy & children swim lessons. Entry: Adult $6.90. In summer Brisbane City Council has been sponsoring $2 entry 1/12 to end of Feb. Lots of g strings with butts shaking everywhere. Barbques All sorts of seating & tables Shaded and non shaded areas Fake grass and real grass Cafe on site. Merlo coffee. Food. Usual stuff. Unsure if cater for dietary needs such as GF, V or healthy options. I saw teens eating hot chips. Bathrooms: working but old. Renovation would be great. Accessible showers. Ambulant loo. Big change areas. Be nice if child boys over 6 didn’t go into the ladies showers. Lots of goggles & swimwear for sale. Free carpark outside.

Such a gorgeous place but the grass has a TERRIBLE ant problem. Like, it's really quite bad. I and my kids have been bitten by bull ants multiple times here, even when we've moved our spot to a place we thought was safe. Other than that, it's a lovely facility with great staff.

Yeronga pool is me and my husband’s first choice every single weekend but recently the queue needs to wait for those kids swimming lessons sign up is really upsetting. Is there any chance u could provide kids consultation sessions separately and let us random adults swimming people just pay and go plz.
