Yoseikan -Ryu Karate provides a positive environment for all kids and all adults. If you want to find a better version of yourself not only physically but also mentally, this is the place to be!!!
Karate has been so beneficial for my daughter in building her character and teaching her endurance. All the trainers are very kind and supportive and she had made great friends as well. Lovely family oriented club.
Such a positive environment!! Returning to any sport as an adult can be challenging, but everyone at Yoseikan -Ryu Karate (from the instructors to students) are unbelievably supportive and friendly. Returning to karate will always be once of the best decisions I have ever made.
I have nothing but great things to say about Yoseikan-Ryu Karate, a great place where my kids have grown mentally and physically. Highly recommend Yoseikan-Ryu Karate for anyone keen on their children learning real like skids and resilience, and develop mentally and physically, not to mention develop real and great friendships.
Getting older, slowing down, loosing flexibility, I decided to take up Karate again. A sport I enjoyed more than 30 years previously. Being introduced to Yoseikan by a friend, at the age of 54, I found the atmosphere at the club to be welcoming and friendly. What really impressed me, was that older members would welcome me by name when I arrived for training, even though I was just starting as a white belt. I was also pleased to find that there are quite a few adults, and I was not the oldest. Now 6 years later, at the age of 60, and with the support of the club, I have achieved a black belt accreditation. Something I am very proud of. What surprised me about Yoseikan, is the heritage. Yosiekan has its roots back to the early Shotokan style of Karate, and the techniques are still true to form. Yoseikan sports and extensive list of members that have represented Australian Karate nationally and around the world, and coming home carrying gold, silver, or bronze. Sometimes all three in the same category! I feel privileged to be a member of what I believe is the best club.
