I am incredibly proud of my two sons for being part of Yoseikan-Ryu Karate. Watching them grow through this journey has been such a special experience for me as a mother. They are not only learning karate, but also important values like respect, discipline, and perseverance. Each class helps them become more confident and encourages them to improve every day. The instructors do an amazing job, guiding them with patience, dedication, and genuine care. You can truly see how much they care about each student. We’ve had an excellent experience with Yoseikan-Ryu Karate. The entire team is incredibly professional—from the trainers to the staff—and they create a very supportive and disciplined environment for the students. The quality of training is outstanding, and the dojos are always well-organised and run to a high standard. One of the biggest advantages is the flexibility they offer, with multiple locations and the ability to attend sessions across different venues, which makes it very convenient. We’re especially proud of our son's progress and really appreciate the dedication and encouragement from the instructors. Highly recommend to any family looking for a great martial arts program!

We’ve had such a great experience with Yoseikan-Ryu Karate Maylands! My son has been attending since October 2025, and it’s been amazing to see his growth in confidence and discipline over that time. My son has been attending the Maylands classes at Yoseikan-Ryu Karate with Jon for less than a year and the progress has been incredible. In that short time he has already graded for two new belts and is preparing for his third. What I value most is the confidence and discipline he has gained, along with a genuine love for the sport. The instructors are fantastic with the kids—kind, engaging and firm on respect and good behaviour. They are wonderful role models, especially for young boys. The classes also encourage teamwork and social skills, with children partnering up and getting to know one another while they learn. My son absolutely loves going each week and always leaves smiling, proud of the new skills, movements and katas he is learning. A fantastic club for kids and families. Highly recommend.
