Learning piano with Zac has been a fantastic experience. I started as an adult learner with no musical background, simply wanting to learn for fun. Instead of following a strict curriculum, Zac took the time to understand the music I actually liked and built lessons around that. Everything was tailored to my level and interests, so it never felt generic. He has a very strong knowledge of music theory and explains foundational techniques clearly, then demonstrates how they connect directly to the songs you’re learning. The exercises always felt relevant and purposeful. Zac is a talented musician and a patient, skilled teacher. He’s also genuinely fun and approachable while still being focused and professional. Zac is an amazing guitar teacher! Highly recommended! I started lessons with him because I wanted to improve my improvisation and really understand scales better, and he was absolutely the best choice. He’s incredibly talented and very professional, and his lessons are always well-structured and focused. Each class had the perfect balance of music theory and practical playing. We covered a lot of techniques, worked on scales in depth, and spent time jamming, which made everything feel natural and musical. What makes Zac stand out even more is that he doesn’t only play guitar, he also plays bass, piano, and drums, and he even sings. He often used these instruments during lessons to explain musical concepts from different angles, which helped me understand everything much deeper. Communication was always clear and easy, and he’s very flexible, which made scheduling and learning stress-free. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already at an advanced level, Zac is the best choice if you’re looking for a great teacher. I have spent roughly 2 years learning guitar with Zac and I can honestly say it has been a wonderful experience every step of the way. Zac is highly personable and his passion for music and teaching is immediately obvious. He has always been accommodating and generous with his time, constantly looking to maximise what I take away from our lessons. I have been more than satisfied with the progress that I have made with my instrument, already working towards a Grade 6-Level exam after only a couple of years, and I can absolutely say that I have Zac to thank for a lot of this progress. I consistently come away from lessons feeling motivated and refocused on my guitar playing. Zac has helped me improve my singing immensely. Starting from a soft, timid and breathy voice, he has taught me how to be confident and sing strongly with my chest voice. I can’t recommend Zac highly enough. He’s an outstanding teacher - deeply knowledgeable about music, proficient on multiple instruments, and an excellent singer. His teaching style is clear, structured, and patient. I started learning electric guitar and singing as an adult, and Zac helped me significantly improve my rhythm, vocal technique, and ear training. Even after I moved overseas, I chose to continue lessons with him remotely - that alone says a lot. When I lived in Brisbane, his classes were the highlight of my week.
